I'm trying to make a hard decision. The question is, do I reach out, and make myself vulnerable, to try and rekindle a friendship I was too hurt to carry on with back then? Or not? I would like to, but I'm not sure. I don't think I'm scared... I don't think fear is stopping me. I don't know what is though.

We both said some things that hurt the other, and I think we both have pride we don't want to let go of. And I think part of it *might* be that we are both scared the other will say "No thanks"

Just... considering.

So,
A goal I have set for myself next week is to make a friend with a complete stranger in public. I have always felt weird about going up to and talking to strangers when they are shopping or having coffee or something. I might go to a little coffee shop and set up beside someone who is sitting alone.

Future goals:
Buy a new couch financially permitting. Hopefully something red.

Book a trip from work after Mekael is set to go on tour. Mostly as a pick me up for me... so I'm no thinking about the danger he will be in. I would like to go to either Ireland or Greece if I go international, (but not really the season to go, so I think that will be on hold) or I Would like to stay in a condo in Jasper or Banff... I guess I can check out other local places too.

Since my last journal entry:

I have gotten married (June 7) Still working at La Senza, but things have been much better for a few months now. It's no longer unbearable and I would actually like to stay. I'm being given recognition for all the things I do. (about a quarter of them are not in my job description)

I've met my in-laws, and I absolutely love them! Mekael and I went on our honeymoon.

I found out I would have gotten cervical cancer in about a year or two, and have an appointment in December to get everything taken care of. (It hasn't progressed into Cancer just yet, it's still in the early stages of abnormal cells to be too worried about)

My ex is still trying to apologize for being a dick, even though I won't reply to his messages.

My best friend got engaged.

I love life again.

That's just it. We're engaged.
